Agility Day

What to Expect?

You and your pooch will be assigned a trainer. The trainer will walk you through 3 to 5 Agility Stations. It will take approximately 25 minutes to get through the stations. In order to make sure this is a positive events there is a few items that you need to remember:

1. Your dog must be on a leash.
2. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. There will be poop bags available.
3. You will need to bring food to reward your dog during the training.
   1. The trainer recommends Bil Jac Frozen Dog Food  or Hot dogs or whatever food you typically use to reward your dog.
   2. Please remember you will be training your dog on the agility course for about 30 minutes, so you will need treats for that duration. (Please no dry food, per trainer request.)
   3.  You can purchase a bag of BIL JAC Frozen Dog Food at the Check-in Booth for  $2

4. At Check-in: Collars checked using the two-finger rule. There should be no more that two finger space between the collar and the neck.
5. At Check-in: A knot should be tied at the top of the Leash to help ensure the leash do not slip away during the training session, once our volunteers will help to check this off.
6. At Check-in: You will be assigned an Agility Trainer who will stay with you and your pooch through each of the Agility Training Stations.
7. Once your rotation is complete, we will also have the option of doing Christmas Photos for a donation to the Sachse Dog Park. Here is a sample
